Gerald was born a poor boy in the middle of nowhere. Specifically - Columbus, Nebraska. In his early teens, his family moved to Omaha, Nebraska, but he ultimately settled a few hours south in Kansas City, Missouri. It was here that he graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a degree in painting, and raise two sons with his wife Kathleen.

Although his career path started out in architecture, he found he wasn't able to reach a level of creativity that he desired and switched to a fine art path.

Historically Gerald had painted in any available area of his home, but in 2004 a dream of his was finally realized. He was able to build a separate dedicated studio to work and show his works. Since that time, Gerald has dedicated innumerous hours to his work.

Most paintings are oil on linen, but watercolor, pencil, and acrylics are used as well.

He did so much, but unfortunately we lost "Jerry" in 2015. He gave us a really loving lifetime. Please enjoy the gallery as a small ongoing tribute to his creativity.
